Air traffic controller tries to save a pilot who lost control of his plane in bad weather
Adrien Valentine, 21, of Melrose, Florida, took off from Kissimmee Gateway Airport in his small Cherokee Piper 180 plane on Nov. 14, 2023. His presumed destination was Gainesville Regional Airport, but he became disoriented after encountering bad weather. An air traffic controller from Jacksonville tried to help him land the plane safely.
